Real Estate Advice For Changing Title After Making Mortgage Payments
Buying real estate with family can be tricky. What can you do if you've made all the mortgage payments but you share the title with a family member? In trying to get a family member to change his mind about co-owning a home, it helps to view the situation from the other person's point of view. If the co-owner won't ultimately agree to be removed from the title to a home on whose mortgage he's made no payments, it may be necessary to file a lawsuit.

What do you do if you've purchased a new home but are unable to sell your old home? You could decide to lease or rent it. If you do that, you have to consider the primary residence tax exemption. To be sure whatever type of lease you sign covers all your concerns. Talk to a real estate attorney to have all your bases covered.
Getting Transaction Statement From Mortgage Company
A mortgage company shouldn't refuse a borrower's request for a detailed transaction statement. All lenders should give borrowers the statement on an annual basis giving you a statement of your account. If the lender has never given you a statement, refuses to issue you a statement, doesn't have a web site that you can go to and get a statement, then you should complain and complain loudly.
Shopping For A New Mortgage Company
A home buyer is unhappy that the good faith estimate from his lender did not disclose prepayment penalties. Ilyce explains that he should shop around for a different mortgage company. Having a lender pull his credit report will not lower his credit score.
