There are a few resources you can use to find out what the current rates are for current phone plans. As a consumer, it’s up to you to do the work to make sure you’re getting the best rates on your phone and other bills. You’ll also want to pay close attention to your phone bill if you think you’re paying too much.
A home buyer had an offer accepted to purchase a condo with a ratified contract. After accepting, the seller wants to counter the buyer’s offer. Whether both sides signed the contract and what they signed to will direct this buyer on how to proceed.
For some lenders, pre-qualification and pre-approvals are the same thing. As a borrower, you’ll want a lender to give you a written commitment to fund a loan. Lenders might approve more than you can afford, so remember that it is up to you to make sure your loan works with your budget.
While writing bad checks is illegal, it might be difficult to get the police involved. If you’ve been written a check that has bounced, you may be able to file a report for fraud. The other option to go after a bad check-writer is small claims court.
If someone dies without assets in their estate, there is no way to pay off that person’s debts. Without assets, the debts die with the person. Unless there are living cosigners on that person’s account, no one is responsible for ensuring those debts are paid.
A law signed in 2006 brings changes to Roth IRA law. While the amount you earn to open up a Roth IRA will not change, anyone can open a non-deductible IRA account, contribute to it and convert it to a Roth IRA in 2010. Whether you’re looking at a Roth or traditional IRA, you should never cap the amount you save for retirement.
