Jake Adger, Dennis Carlson, Rick Sharga and Theresa Bradley-Banta join Ilyce to talk about recent trends and hot topics in personal finance on the Ilyce Glink Show on August 11, 2013 on WSB Radio.
Ilyce’s show always contains various forms of personal finance advice but she has invited four intelligent and engaged professionals to talk about real estate, credit, and today’s economy.
These four experts have strong opinions regarding certain issues Americans are facing:
Jake Adger – Chief Economist – RealtyTrac
Hired in April 2013, Adger is spearheading a new department that tasked with conducting original economic housing research and developing new products and services that leverage the company’s vast real estate database. Adger works with RealtyTrac’s database and public relations team to create new real estate reports and studies available to the public. He will also interface with other business units in the RealtyTrac organization — from member services and sales to data licensing and report sales — providing those business units with analysis and research to help them develop new products and services for RealtyTrac customers.
Adger brings 11 years of analytics and product management experience to RealtyTrac. He has held senior management positions in a diverse group of companies, including SuccessFactors, Deloitte Consulting and Ski West. He was most recently a director at SuccessFactors, the leader in cloud business execution software. At SuccessFactors, Adger analyzed and improved operational processes and tools for field sales and free trials. Adger developed new products and improved user experience while leading the “NEXT Labs” initiative to bring consumer software usability to Enterprise Software.
Adger earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He received a bachelor of sciences degree in economics and computer science from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.

Dennis Carlson – Deputy Chief Economist – Equifax
Dennis Carlson has spent his life analyzing data as a vehicle to better understand the world. After graduating from the University of Florida, the life-long ‘data junkie’ studied graduate statistics at Cornell University.
A 14 year financial services veteran, Dennis leveraged the power of data and analytics to transform how financial institutions and merchants view customers for American Express and First Data before joining Equifax in 2012. De
Dennis joined Equifax in 2012 and now serves as the Deputy Chief Economist where he continues to tap his unique understanding of data and industry acumen to provide analytical insights to advance the business.
