Wells Fargo Presents a Homeownership Preservation Event in Atlanta, September 8-9, 2011
Wells Fargo has announced that it will hold a Homeownership Preservation event in Atlanta on September 8 and 9 at the Georgia World Congress Center. You have to sign up IN ADVANCE for the event. Here’s how to do it:
How to register for Wells Fargo’s Atlanta Home Preservation Workshop
Wells Fargo has invited 9,500 customers to the two-day workshop in Atlanta, scheduled for September 8-9, from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. each day, at the Georgia World Congress Center. Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is strongly recommended in order to guarantee the ability to meet with a representative. Sign up by September 7, 2011 at www.wfhmevents.com/leadingthewayhome. For more information call toll-free 1-800-405-8067.
On the show today, we talked about the paperwork you need. It includes:
- Hardship letter. Tell Wells Fargo why you need a loan modification
- W2 or paycheck stub
- Tax return
- Asset documentation (bank statements, etc.)
- Other information that speaks to income or expenses
Be sure to sign up in advance and reserve your spot. I’ll talk about this again next Sunday and Monday, when I fill in for Clark Howard on Labor Day.
