Are you sick of paying huge cable bills? What if you deconstructed what you pay for (phone, TV, Internet) and started to look at unusual ways of accessing the content you want through technology?

Loads of WSB listeners have been trying Magic Jack (www.magicjack.com; $40 for the first year, $20 per year after that) and found it much less expensive than paying the phone company $40 per month (or more) for local or long-distance service. When it comes to TV, you can watch so much of your regularly programming online. Try sites like Sling.com, and Hulu.com. Or, go to the website of your favorite shows and see what’s playing there.

You might also want to look at Google.com/talk, iCall.com, YahooVoice, Skype, and others.

What’s your favorite site for consumer content? How do you save on your cable/tv/phone bill?
